Cross Examine is a bold new Christian television program from Coral Ridge Ministries. Hosted by author and Truth Project teacher Dr. Del Tackett, along with veteran broadcaster John Rabe, Cross Examine takes you up close and personal with real stories that show you life in the light of God’s Word.
Two years in development, the new program pairs gripping human-interest stories with in-studio discussion that explores the larger meaning of each story from a biblical framework.
The program is designed to help viewers "connect the dots" between all aspects of life and a biblical worldview. As Del explains on his blog (DelTackett.com), "Our premise is that if a story is filled with pain and pathology—things just aren't working very well—it is most likely because of defying God's design. If the story is one of blessing and seems to be working well, then it is most likely because of an alignment 'with' God's design."
Del sums up the heart of Cross Examine when he says, "It has been my belief and sense that the Lord is calling me to have a part, maybe a small part, in getting the body of Christ healthy and strong. And one of the areas that I think is critical is the embracing of a comprehensive systematic biblical worldview. The body of Christ needs to see all of life from the standpoint of God's truth and His desire to see all of life brought underneath the lordship of Christ."
